Introduction to Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services

Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing platform that includes so-called “Cognitive Services” such as identifying the contents of images, transcribing audio, and performing text sentiment analysis. This workshop introduces the Azure cloud computing platform and demonstrates some services of particular interest to social scientists.

The duration of the workshop is 3 hours. Computers with Python pre-loaded are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you will use your own laptop, please install the Anaconda distribution of Python 3.
