Introduction to Programming for Researchers

This workshop is intended for researchers who want to learn the basics of programming for their work, from executing simple commands to writing new functions. With hands-on exercises in Python and examples in R, Bash and C), researchers will learn the programming notions common to the most popular computer languages, to apply them in their own research. Those starting to evaluate the programming needs for their project are more than welcome! 

The duration of the workshop is 3 hours. Computers with Python pre-loaded are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you will use your own laptop, please install the Anaconda distribution of Python 3.

Audience: Harvard Faculty, Students, and Staff are all welcome.
